Der Name \u201eGyokuro\u201c kann mit \u201eJadetau\u201c \u00fcbersetzt werden, ein Name, der die sch\u00f6ne Farbe und Qualit\u00e4t des Tees verr\u00e4t. Gyokuro ist ein im Schatten angebauter Tee, was bedeutet, dass die f\u00fcr Gyokuro verwendeten Teestr\u00e4ucher vor der Ernte etwa 3-4 Wochen lang vor Tageslicht gesch\u00fctzt werden. Dadurch entwickelt Gyokuro einen s\u00fc\u00dfen und umamireichen Geschmack.
