Die Farm liegt auf einer H\u00f6he von etwa 1500 Metern im nordwestlichen Teil des malerischen Kurseong-Tals und profitiert von den einzigartigen klimatischen Bedingungen der Gegend. Dazu geh\u00f6ren k\u00fchle Temperaturen, reichlich Regen und wiederkehrender Nebel \u2013 alles entscheidende Faktoren f\u00fcr die Entwicklung der charakteristischen Aromen von Darjeeling. Dieser besondere Teil des Kurseong-Tals ist f\u00fcr sein vorteilhaftes Terroir bekannt, das den Tees von Singell ihre besondere Qualit\u00e4t verleiht. Neben seiner langen Geschichte ist Singell auch f\u00fcr seinen wertvollen und alten Bestand an Teestr\u00e4uchern bekannt, haupts\u00e4chlich der traditionellen chinesischen Sorte Camellia sinensis sinensis. Viele dieser B\u00fcsche sind mehrere Jahrzehnte alt und tragen zur Komplexit\u00e4t und Tiefe bei, die die Tees der Farm auszeichnen.
