Wild Rooibos Peppermint

Description

Our wild-growing, organic rooibos from Cederberg in South Africa, we combine here with fresh organic peppermint. The harvest of rooibos takes place by hand from wild-growing shrubs, something that is unusual today when most of the rooibos sold is commercially grown. The cooperative we work with has both cultivated and wild rooibos, and we chose the wild one because it has a completely different depth and a different length in taste. Rooibos, like tea, contains a considerable dose of antioxidants, but unlike tea, it has no caffeine at all, which makes it excellent as an evening tea. Wild Rooibos Peppermint has a round and soft taste where the rooibos' nectar-like tones harmonize nicely with the fresh peppermint.
