This exclusive tea is grown at an altitude of around 1,700 metres in the Fengqing district, a place known for its mild climate and mineral-rich soil, which provides the tea bushes with the ideal conditions for developing a complex and aromatic flavour profile. Golden Yunnan is harvested by hand in early spring, when the quality of the tea leaves is at its highest. Each pick consists of one bud and two leaves, a method that contributes to the tea's full-bodied and elegant flavour.
During the production process, the leaves are gently processed to preserve their natural character and to bring out the golden colour of the buds, which is characteristic of this type of Yunnan tea. The golden buds are rich in natural oils and flavourings, which give Golden Yunnan Black its unique combination of richness and subtle sweetness. The flavour is round and has a mild maltiness complemented by notes of noble wood and maple syrup, giving a balanced and sophisticated character.

                        Dosage / 250 ml
                    2,5-3 g

                        temperature
                    90-95°C

                        Infusion
                    3-5 minutes

                    G

The Yunnan olive is well suited to multiple infusions.
