Nepal is not a well-known tea country among the general public, but it is a well-hidden secret among modern tea aficionados. With its stunning location on the slopes of the Himalayas, the conditions are perfect for fine teas. The proximity to Darjeeling means that many of the teas are inspired by and reminiscent of their teas, but Nepali teas are also home to some very successful experiments with other types of tea that can't be compared to anything else.
