Himalayan White is an organic white tea from the renowned Jun Chiyabari tea estate, located in the beautiful and scenic Hile region of Nepal. The tea is harvested during the first harvest period of the year, known as the "first flush", which extends over a longer period of time. To ensure the highest quality, only the very earliest pickings are used during this period, giving the tea a pure and unique flavour.
The production process follows the traditional Chinese white tea technique, which starts with a natural wilting of the leaves. This is followed by a light final drying in an oven, where each step is done with great care and attention to preserve the delicate flavours and specific character of Himalayan White. This method gives the tea a crystal clear flavour with a refined and subtle complexity.
The result is a spectacular white tea that offers a long, clean finish and a refreshing, light flavour. Himalayan White offers an elegant and sophisticated experience, perfect for those who appreciate a natural and pure tea experience. The March 2024 harvest will offer a great flavour profile, reflecting the unique growing conditions in Hile and the passion and care the farm puts into its production.

H imalayan White lends itself well to multiple infusions. The second infusion is best kept short, as the leaves have already started to open and release their flavours. Subsequent infusions, on the other hand, should be left to rest a little longer to allow the flavours to deepen and the nuances to emerge. For many teas, two or three infusions with the above parameters are enough, but some keep on giving, cup after cup.
