Founded in the 1860s, Singell is one of the oldest and most reputable tea estates in Darjeeling. Located at an altitude of about 1500 metres in the north-western part of the beautiful Kurseong valley in Darjeeling, it is particularly known for its high-quality Darjeeling tea, often referred to as the 'champagne of teas'. The estate also attracts many visitors who want to experience Darjeeling's beautiful landscape and its famous tea estates. Singell teas are sought after for their unique flavour profiles, which often include floral, nutty and spicy undertones, light citrus notes and hints of muscatel.
