The Phoenix Mountains in northern Guangdong are home to some of the world's most unusual and exclusive teas, with a long history dating back to the Song Dynasty. Scattered along the alternating sunny and mist-swept slopes, cliffs and precipices, young and old tea bushes and trees grow to produce teas with unique aroma and flavour profiles. There are a large number of cultivars in the area and teas are categorised by cultivar, aroma type and sometimes by mother tree. This means that different cultivars can be used to produce a tea that belongs to a flavour type. Duck Shit Phoenix Oolong has been handled with great care to bring out elegant fruity and floral notes, a soft honey sweetness and a long, aromatic aftertaste that lingers in the mouth and throat. Tegården practises sustainable agriculture and uses neither pesticides nor artificial fertilisers.
