Hojicha is a Japanese green tea that gets its characteristic color and taste from the roasting that the tea leaves undergo: instead of greenery, an infusion of the amber tea gives a cup with warm, softly roasted tones and a round sweetness and hints of licorice root and a slight nuttiness . Our hojicha is made on an organic bancha that has been carefully roasted. The tea has a low caffeine content and is therefore particularly suitable as evening tea, but is of course also drunk at other times of the day.
