Darjeeling Singell Golden Reserve

Established in the 1860s, Singell is one of the oldest and most reputed tea estates in Darjeeling. This historic farm has a rich heritage and is deeply rooted in the tea growing culture of the region. The farm is located at an altitude of about 1500 metres above sea level, in the north-western part of the beautiful Kurseong Valley. The area is renowned for its spectacular scenery and mild climate which is ideal for tea growing. Singell has become particularly famous for its high-quality Darjeeling tea, often referred to as the 'champagne of teas' because of its exceptional flavour and aromatic properties.

D arjeeling Singell Golden Reserve lends itself well to multiple infusions. The second infusion is best kept short, as the leaves have already started to open and release their flavours. Subsequent infusions, on the other hand, should be left to rest a little longer, so that the flavours deepen and the nuances emerge. For many teas, two or three infusions with the above parameters are enough, but some keep on giving, cup after cup.
