Traditional Tie Guanyin

Our Traditional Tie Guanyin is a stunning version of one of China's most beloved and famous oolong teas. Grown in the lush Anxi region, deep in Fujian province, the tea bushes are allowed to grow in a pristine and crystal clear environment at high altitude. These altitudes give the tea its unique character through cooler temperatures and natural mists, allowing the leaves to mature slowly and develop a deep flavour profile. The tea leaves are hand-picked with care, an endeavour carried out with great attention to detail and traditional craftsmanship.

In the manufacturing process, Traditional Tie Guanyin undergoes a careful and slow roasting process, where the tea leaves are roasted in several stages to bring out their full depth of flavour. This time-consuming method gives the tea its characteristic, full-bodied flavour and brings out both its round, buttery texture and fresh green undertones. In the cup, Traditional Tie Guanyin offers a mild butteriness, fresh greenness and a light note of lilac, a flavour profile that is both complex and balanced.
