Darjeeling Samabeong Morning Mist

This is an organic First Flush Darjeeling from Samabeong, one of Darjeeling's highest tea estates, with plantations at over 2000 metres above sea level. The farm is secluded in the north-eastern part of Darjeeling, in the Kalimpong district, and benefits from the area's mild and humid microclimate.
This batch consists of an exclusive picking, harvested by hand in early spring from the farm's highest vineyards. For a first flush Darjeeling, the first stage of production - withering - is more pronounced, and it is this stage that results in the light, green character that characterises these teas. Made from young spring shoots, our Darjeeling Samabeong Morning Mist has an elegant, well-balanced and refreshing flavour palette with classic Darjeeling character with a delicate sweetness that harmonises with passion fruit, mango and a delicate floral note.

D arjeeling Samabeong Morning Mist lämpar sig väl för flera infusioner. Den andra bryggningen hålls med fördel kort, då bladen redan har börjat öppna sig och frigöra sina aromer. De följande infusionerna får däremot gärna vila något längre, så att smakerna fördjupas och nyanserna träder fram. För många teer räcker två till tre infusioner med ovan nämnda parametrar, men vissa fortsätter att ge, kopp efter kopp.
