Singell Himalayan Reserve

Singell is one of the oldest tea estates in Darjeeling and is situated at an altitude of about 1500 metres in the north-western part of the beautiful Kurseong Valley in Darjeeling. Singell is known for its old stand of tea bushes.
The farm's teas are known for their classic flavour profile. This tea is from part of the farm that still has tea bushes from the 19th century. The infusion is clear and lively with a complex aroma. Herbal and floral notes harmonise in this refreshing tea.

S ingell Himalayan Reserve lends itself well to multiple infusions. The second infusion is best kept short, as the leaves have already started to open and release their flavours. Subsequent infusions, on the other hand, should be left to rest a little longer, so that the flavours deepen and the nuances emerge. For many teas, two or three infusions with the above parameters are enough, but some keep on giving, cup after cup.
