While most Earl Grey teas today are made with low-quality black tea and flavoured with synthetic aromas, we have uncompromisingly created an Earl Grey where the raw ingredients take centre stage. Our Earl Grey Four Seasons is a carefully composed blend. This unique blend uses full-bodied high-altitude teas from Yunnan, Nepal and Darjeeling, each contributing its own distinct characteristics and flavours. The tea from Darjeeling is a fresh first flush that provides a clear and lively base that balances the other teas in this exquisite blend. This type of tea, harvested early in the season, has a light and floral character that really brings out the subtle flavours of the tea. In contrast to this are the other teas, selected from summer, autumn and winter harvests, which contribute their own unique nuances. These full-bodied teas have a deeper and more robust flavour profile that complements the lighter tone of Darjeeling, creating a harmonious and well-defined taste experience. In our quest to preserve quality and authenticity, we do not use any synthetic flavourings, relying instead on natural ingredients and traditional methods to introduce the citrus notes of bergamot. This authentic bergamot, sourced from Calabria in Italy, adds a fresh and aromatic character that elevates the entire blend.
