Weishan Maojian

Weishan Maojian is a famous green tea from the Weishan Mountains in Hunan Province, China. The tea is grown in Weishan, a region with excellent conditions for tea growing. The unique environment of the area contributes to the tea's special taste and aroma. The tender leaves harvested in early spring give the tea its exquisite taste and aroma. Weishan Maojian is known for its soft and subtly sweet taste with hints of the first fruits of the year. The tea has a round body and a long elegant finish with light floral notes and hints of citrus. The brewed tea has a light greenish-yellow hue. "Maojian" refers to the small, narrow and pointed leaves that are often covered with small white fluff, a sign of the tea's high quality.

W Eishan Maojian is well suited to multiple infusions. The second infusion should ideally be kept brief, as the leaves have already begun to unfurl and release their aromas.
