Guan Yin Red Robe is a more oxidised and roasted oolong from Anxi in China. Unlike the other oolongs of the Anxi tradition that are rolled into balls, this tea exhibits long narrow twisted leaves. The flavour is satisfyingly rich and deep with a fieriness from a skilful roasting done in several batches.

Uanyin Red Robe, Deep Roasted is well suited to multiple infusions. The second infusion should ideally be kept brief, as the leaves have already begun to unfurl and release their aromas.
