China is the birthplace of tea and home to some of the world’s most famous teas. It was here that the first green teas, the classic oolong teas from Fujian, the aged pu-erh teas from Yunnan and many of the styles that later spread to the rest of the world were developed. With its unique diversity of teas, terroirs and traditions, China occupies a position in the world of tea that can best be compared to that of Europe in the world of wine. In our range, you’ll find everything from Long Jing and Anji Bai Cha to Tie Guanyin, Da Hong Pao, Keemun Gong Fu and aged Pu-erh teas. Together, they demonstrate the breadth that has made China the world’s leading tea-producing country.
